Tim Grotefendt started GHR in 2009 in Edwardsville, Illinois. The idea was simple. Pick the one job nobody wanted to specialize in, and get really, really good at it.
Sixteen years and 600+ installs later, that's still the whole company. No siding. No roofing. No bath remodels. Just egress windows, every day.
Two people. One company.
Tim runs the field. He's been on every type of foundation in the metro. Block, poured, ICF, brick, the weird stuff. He still goes out on the harder estimates personally.
Nicci runs the business. Scheduling, permits, customer comms, the books. The reason calls get returned the same day and inspections get booked on time is Nicci.
We're all in together. That's why the work feels personal. Because it is.

The crew isn't a rotating cast of day labor. They're guys we know, guys we trust, guys whose work we'd put our name on. You'll see the same faces from quote to cleanup.
